Headed West - Stay Tuned The Boys Are On The Road Again
Professor, stay tuned. The men are getting active and I will not be in class today. I cannot explain why yet but I will keep updates on The Spirit of the Wild. Headed to the Wild West with the boys and that is all I will say. The outdoors have always been a big part of my life so I added some pictures of hunting / hiking to my introductory blog.
Just to give a little back story of who I am, I was born and raised in the wildlife. I spent my summers growing up control burning the pines of Georgia, planting wild millet and rice for ducks, releasing thousands of quail that were once native, and preserving the land to the best of my ability. I have worked on two different plantations, both world-renowned and recognized as top-tier natural habitats. Hunting to me has never been about the kill. For every duck I have shot, we have released 20 more. For every quail I have hunted, we have released 100 more. A lot of hunters have a bad reputation for ruining the land, and rightfully so. There are more than enough hunters that have taken and never given back so it is my job to carry their weight. But more than that, it is to change the perspective of how the world perceives a hunter.

Sorry we missed you in class. I look forward to hearing more about your outdoors adventures.
